Dr. Janil Gore-Francis has been elected Co-Chair of the CPHD Forum at the 16th Annual CPHD Forum meeting held in August 2023 in Antigua and Barbuda.
Ms. Gore-Francis, who has attained a Ph.D. in biology, is currently the Chief Plant Protection Officer at Plant Protection Division of Antigua and Barbuda. She has over 22 years of professional experience in the agriculture sector (pest, project, budget and human resource development and/or management, biosafety, board and committee chairmanship, institutional and capacity building, agricultural health and food safety, policy and information communication using various media) and implementing work programs in keeping with national, regional and international standards and is eager to help redefine and strengthen the sector through innovation.
