Ministry of Agriculture & Lands – Grenada Video – Plant Health in 2020 (IYPH 2020)
As part of the IYPH 2020, Grenada’s Pest Management Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture & Lands will be engaging in a series of awareness events, throughout the year 2020, with the aim of educating the public on some of the dangers that can affect plant health.
In this video, published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands – Grenada, Pest Management Officer Mr. Thaddeus Peters, highlights why protecting plant health is important. He also mentions the need for sensitizing farmers, importers and the general public on the Panama disease – Fusarium Wilt of Bananas and Plantains TR4, as part of preventing it from entering Grenada.
